Built from a Patient's Perspective
The Clinical Gap
In 2025, our founder visited an occupational therapist after a nerve injury affected his ability to move his right hand. The therapist used a dynamometer to quantify his grip and pinch force, but didn't know of an instrument for assessing extension and abduction, which was the founder's primary challenge.
The Splayometer gives clinicians the quantitative data they need to assess, document, and track finger and hand extension and abduction.
